reawaken, reconnect and rewild

Camp Wildling

August 20 - 23, 2020 ~ Cook Station, Missouri

Blending the nostalgia of a traditional summer camp experience with transformative energy and deep connection, our gorgeous Ozarks sleepaway camp will have you feeling activated and captivated from the moment you arrive.

Spend your days attending sessions and activities with renowned teachers offering a variety of incredible experiences or hang out by the kick ass 1960s super pool the whole weekend.  Choose a float adventure on the spring-fed Meramec river, hike the beautiful trails on the property, try your hand at zip lining, nap under the trees in the old growth forest, or do absolutely nothing at all.  This is YOUR camp where you get to choose your own adventure.  No matter what you choose, there are awakenings and opportunities around every corner.

Whether you come alone, with your bestie, or with a group of beloveds, Camp Wildling is the place to meet your new forever friends. This is our *favorite* part about camp and the reason why we wanted to create Camp Wildling in the first place. The friendships that form at camp are special and last long after closing ceremony. Created with roots in authenticity, respect, adventure and most of all…heart.  Camp Wildling friends become family.

The basics

Camp Wildling - adults-only sleepaway camp

August 20-23, 2020

Mound Ridge Retreat Center, Cook Station, Missouri

Cost: $250-$450 per person

Your home for the weekend

Mound Ridge Retreat Center, our beautiful 370-acre camp, overlooks the headwaters of the Meramec River.  Its sacred grounds contain two low mounds thought to have been built during the Woodland period by the Meramec tribe who once lived in the caves along the cliffs of the river that now bears their name.  Many of the buildings and stone walkways on the property were built by master stonemasons in 1920. You can't help but feel the history of these precious lands.

Lodging and Tickets

(SOLD OUT) River Retreat Lodge - VIP option.  This historic building is tucked away among towering pines and bur oak trees overlooking the upper Meramec River. A rustic staircase cascades down the hill to lush fields which lead to the river.  The Retreat Lodge has three wings and in-total has 6 bedrooms that can sleep up to 15 people. If you're looking for your own room to share with a friend or lover, this is it.  The Retreat Lodge contains a kitchenette, several porches, fireplaces, air conditioning, and ceiling fans. The lodge also has four private bathrooms and is ADA accessible.   Due to the COVID situation, bedding is not provided this year.  $450 - per person.

(SOLD OUT) Small group cabins.  If you've ever been to sleepaway camp, you know this is where the best friendships begin.  You can reserve a space in one of our charming cabins where you'll have your very own bunk to settle into.  We have a cabin that sleeps 8 people in 2 wings, so there will be 4 people in each wing with a shared bathroom.  You'll have your own bunk with no one above you (or no one beneath if you choose the top bunk, you wild thing).  We also have 2 cabins that sleep 6 in each (a twin bed or a bunk to yourself). Finally, we have an adorable cabin just for Kelly Cirone's regular yoga students.  Sleeping 6-8 people, it's got 2 wings and each side has a bunk bed, twin bed, and double bed.  In true camp fashion, feel free to temporarily decorate and personalize your space to really make it feel like yours.  We don't know about you, but if we were staying in one of these cabins, we'd bring some pillows, a little rug, some cool fabric or tapestries, and maybe a fab lantern to create the BEST FORT EVER.  You provide your own bedding with the group cabin option (meaning the mattress is provided, but you bring sleeping bags, sheets, pillows, etc.). Each co-ed cabin has bathrooms, electricity, porches, and air conditioning.  $350 - per person.

Tent camping. With three open fields, Mound Ridge has plenty of space for tent camping. Camping in the lower fields allows for a gravel bar fire at the end of the day and easy access to the river.  Upper field camping is close to the pool and shower house, as well as the large BBQ pit at the pavilion. $250 - per person (you provide your own tent).

(One left!) Platform camping (Glamping!). We also have platforms which each feature a large tent with two bunk beds. So depending upon how you book them, they can sleep 2-4 people in each. They are located a little further away from the hustle and bustle of the main camp area in the sweetest native wildflower field. If you're looking for a more private experience to truly get away from it all, this is it.  We provide a porta potty for your use and it's just a short drive or hike to the main shower house. These gorgeous spaces each have their own campfire areas, but they do not have electricity.  $300 - per person.

**Just 2 spaces left** RVs/Trailers.  Our venue has gorgeous spots for RV and Trailers.  These sites have full water and electric hookup, fire pits, and a picnic area.  $300 - per person (you provide your own rig).

Dining

We are proud to offer home-cooked vegetarian dishes thoughtfully prepared by the retreat center staff using a variety of fresh ingredients.  We are happy to help with special dietary requirements such as gluten-free, vegan, and more. Please let us know when you register if you require special support.  The price for all meals is included with your ticket.

Feel free to bring your own coolers for personal drinks and snacks.  Ice is available at some of the gas stations on the way into camp.  BBQ areas on the property are also available for your use.

Group Activities

There are several thoughtfully curated break out sessions during camp for you to explore a range of activities like yoga, meditation, charcoal drawing, playing in the river, hiking, and more. Check out the Camp Wildling Staff page to meet your expert guides and see the Camp Sessions page for the schedule and class descriptions.  The price for all group activities is included with your ticket.

In addition to group sessions, we will be offering one-on-one appointments with our favorite healers, coaches and bodyworkers.  You can sign up with them directly, as they will set their own schedules and prices. Unless otherwise stated, the price for these offerings is not included with your ticket.

Deposits

You can purchase your tickets in-full now on the Tickets page.  This is a good idea if you are hoping to nab one of the beds in the River Retreat Lodge, as space is very limited.  However, if you're unable to pay for everything at once, we can hold your spot with a $200 non-refundable deposit.  The balance of the payment is due one month before the start of camp, July 20, 2020.  When you send in your deposit, please let us know which lodging/ticket option you are going with and if you are coming with a friend.  We will do our best to make sure you are in the same cabin (or same room if you are staying in River Retreat).

Tickets are selling FAST and these prices are amazing.  Seriously, other adult camps go for three times as much.  There is so much energy surrounding our gathering and if you feel drawn to this magical weekend, we would love to have you there.  So while we can't guarantee that the event will sell out, our previous events have all sold out relatively quickly and there's a good chance this one will too.  We highly recommend booking or putting your deposit down now.  Thank you so much for your interest and support.  It means so much to us!  Welcome to Camp Wildling 2020, friends.  It's going to be the summer camp experience of a lifetime.

We lovingly welcome adults of all races, genders, creeds, persuasions, orientations, and abilities.  You belong and you are welcome here.
